Unlocking the Secrets of Wealth: Part II

In part two of this article series, we'll look at some more of secrets of wealth. These secrets have been developed from observing the success of others and finding what works and what doesn't. Although people succeed at many different things in life due to their own personal values and passions, there is something at the core of success that is the same for everyone. These core attitudes and techniques are key to attaining the wealth and happiness you desire.

The next secret is to "burn your ships." There is an old legend about a Greek general who was taking his army to invade another country. After the large army departed their ships after landing, he ordered that the ships be burnt. He left them no other choice but to stay and WIN! Retreat was not an option. Are you leaving yourself any ships or "outs" in your path to wealth and success? What would happen if you left no room for failure?
One of the most important, yet most counterintuitive parts of success is to give parts of your wealth away. To magnetize money to yourself, you have to be giving and unselfish. Money does not automatically come to the miserly.
Be clear about what you want to do with your money. If you had money, how would you help others? What causes would you donate to? What social problems would you love to help solve with a significant donation to a related charity?

It's important to make the world a better and richer place in order to continue to build wealth. Instead of just thinking about yourself, visualize how your wealth will help others. How will your wealth impact the lives of others?
