Living
the perfect life means many different things to many different people. For some,
perfection lies in a fulfilling job where they are valued for their input, paid
what they are worth and treated with respect. For others, perfection includes
a happy home life where the family members love and care for each other. Perfection
may also include academic degrees, a certain weight, a specific lifestyle. It's
a very personal thing.
How
do others achieve perfection? I'm sure you've seen people or know
people who seem to be living perfect lives. They seem to control
everything around them and have an indescribable power that allows
them to attract their desires like a magnet.
Have
you ever tried to live the perfect life and found that your actions were sabotaging
you? For example, you set a goal to lose 10 lbs in six weeks, and three weeks
into your goal you realize that you no longer have the willpower or motivation
to exercise or follow an eating plan. You find yourself sneaking treats here and
there, skipping on your exercise sessions, and before you know it you are back
at square one. What happened?
The
problem is that action alone won't work. Your mind has to be on board with
the goal or project. That's how others attract success to themselves seemingly
effortlessly. They use the power of the mind to assist them in achieving their
own version of the perfect life.
But
wait a minute! Didn't your mind help you decide the goal of losing weight in the
first place? Wasn't it the mind that planned the meals and got you thinking about
exercise?
The
truth is your conscious mind did, but your subconscious mind was not a part
of the picture. That's why you failed, while others have succeeded. Those
"magnetic" people we spoke of earlier, they know this secret. They use
this secret. And you can too.
